About Rebecca Foley
I didn’t come to this work as a consultant.
I came to it as a founder—building a hybrid school from the ground up, navigating governance questions I didn’t yet have language for, and learning in real time how vision, structure, and sustainability collide.
Over time, I realized that many of the challenges founders face are not personal failures or leadership shortcomings. They are structural. They live at the intersection of governance, economics, and educational leadership—and they often go unnamed until they become urgent.
I hold master’s degrees in Economics and Educational Leadership, and I’ve spent years working inside mission-driven, fee-for-service educational models. That combination—systems thinking and lived experience—shapes how I work.
Today, I serve as a Hybrid School Strategist & Advisor, helping founders and boards step back from the daily pressure of running a school and see the institution they’re actually building.
My work is not about quick fixes or motivational coaching.
It’s about clarity—naming risks, surfacing assumptions, and aligning leadership structures so schools can endure beyond their founding season.
I believe deeply in the promise of hybrid education.
I also believe that promise requires thoughtful governance, honest assessment, and sustainable design.
This work exists to help schools hold both.
